Ever Towards the Light (Sold)

I did an abstract painting for the Texas Mental Health and Retardation Department, they wanted something that represented their philosophy. From the bottom of the painting blobs begin to form into humans as they ascend towards the light which is along a path where a stream of hope descends. Where up the mountain towards the peak they, we each travel in our own way, our own time. Where clouds appear along the peak and as that whole human reaches that point, he is as if ascending into heaven. The final characters arms are uplifted towards the light of the sun and the cycle of life is completed.
