24”x18” Acrylic on Canvas
I am ashamed I do not know the artist which inspired me to do this painting, my version of the work he did. A lecherous, middle aged and oversized man, his face a scowl, robed in royal and lighter blue, standing firmly in the foreground. She, an angel, small, removed, sits on her bed of earthly doom. She, dressed in undergarments, the smell and feel, oil and sweat, she resigned. Her colors, oranges, yellows and whites, he darker shades of orange and red. And in the background a door just visible, the walls, blues and violet.
